Inspiration Behind 'RAIN MAN' Died at Age 58 Years

Still remember the film RAIN MAN, starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise in 1988 ? It turned out that the film takes inspiration from a man named Kim Peek who lives in Utah. And recently reported that the 58-year-old man has just died.

RAIN MAN screenplay itself was written by Barry Morrow after he meets Kim Peek. Barry then basing the character Raymond Babbitt played by Dustin Hoffman in character is Kim Peek. Post-success of this film RAIN MAN, Kim Peek instantly became a media spotlight and became the object of NASA research. Kim even around the world could finally be a speaker about autism who was not yet known many people
